ASSOCIATES (HDA) is a California based full service hospitality design firm which was founded in 1981 by its co-principals; the
husband & wife team of Stephen R. Hosa, planning + design, and Shirley M.
Hosa, interior design. As a design
professional, Stephen Hosa was Board Certified by the NCIDQ
in 1995, which
represented the highest level of national testing and certification in our
industry at the time, and was also registered with the Los Angeles
Conservancy for historical renovation projects.
For
over 40 years HDA has specialized in providing innovative interior & exterior
designs for RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, PRIVATE CLUBS, and CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS
(Libraries, Museums, Universities), and has been nationally recognized by
Interior Design Magazine and Hospitality Design Magazine as one of the top
design firms in the nation, as well as having projects published in
Restaurant & Hotel Design Magazine, Designers West Magazine, and Nations
Restaurant News.

proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget, and

and outside associate services including kitchen design and professional
